Photos of this little beauty have been floating around the fashion world since last week… and we’re not talking about the gorgeous gal … we’re talking about the necklace that has everyone buzzing!

Created by talented jewelry artist Lizzie Fortunato, this crafty piece is eye catching and natural all at the same time, which is why we’re loving it too!

She has a whole series of them in her fall collection. So perfect that we can’t pick which one we love the best!
If you only follow one rule for fall accessories, it’s this: go for the drama. Chunky gems, statement pieces, and serious detailing are all here. Designers are taking a cue from eras past for this season, and the Art Deco style is just one of the many that we’re loving. Here are our picks:

Deck your arms in Deco drama from CC Skye and Janis Savitt with this stunning bracelets.

Simplified Deco style is perfect for a cocktail ring. Isharya, Alexis Bittar, and Juicy all get it right with these designs.

Taking a cue from Deco architecture, these earrings each have their own take on the style. Clockwise from left: Vanessa Montiel, CC Skye, Mallary Marks, and Bounkit for Vivre.
While ladylike styles are definitely on the forefront for fall, we still love a good men’s watch to balance it out. Whether they’re made for a woman or not, these are our current faves. Bet you can’t tell which is his and which is hers…

The watch on the left, from Philip Stein, has a truly unique design aesthetic. It also claims to “emit a unique signal designed to help strengthen the body’s natural electromagnetic field and resist daily stress”. Count us in on that one. The watch on the right from Dior is quite dramatic with sapphire crystal studding on the stainless steel band.

For something a little lighter, we’re really into the simple, somewhat retro, style of this watch from Longines. With that blue alligator band and detailing, you really can’t go wrong. And with a new take on ceramic, the watch on the right from Michael Kors boasts some gorgeous tortoise shell texture with glamorous gold and rhinestone details.
So, whaddaya say ladies? Can you work these watches better than your man? We think you can. And, don’t worry boys, you can join in the fun too.
Maybe it’s the cool mornings we’ve been having here in LA, or the fact that we’re so excited about our fall line we can’t wait to pull on some boots with our new skinnies, but we are seriously ready for next season’s fashions. To help get you in the mood too, we’ve done a little window shopping…

Jil Sander’s patent collection features some gorgeous hues of the season’s more muted jewel tones - a deep teal and fabulous burgundy.

Nothing says fall like warm shades of brown leather. Our picks are a pair of lighter caramel equestrian boots from Chloe, and a Marc Jacobs foldover clutch in contrasting browns.

Of course, we’ll need to pick up a new dress for the season, and we’re loving the subtle metallic look in these two dresses. On the left, La Petite S*****, on the right Lela Rose
Are you in the mood yet? We thought so.
We’re always excited to discover a little originality in the world of fashion, so when we stumbled upon the Aussie company, Colab, we were instant fans.

Meant to bring artists and designers together in pursuit of creating pieces with “no constraint, no rules to follow, no target market to appease,” Colab has created its first line of unique eyewear.

The line was created by selected artists from all over the world. Perks_And_Mini (Australia), EBoy (Germany), Geoff McFetridge (USA), Rockin*Jellybean (Japan), and Neasden Control Centre (United Kingdom) all contributed several designs, each bringing their own look to the collaboration.

While there is certainly a bit of trendiness in these designs, with only 1,000 pairs are available in each style at least you know you’re sure to be somewhat original, even in subtle ways. (The pair above by Geoff McFetridge features a poem printed on the inside of the right temple, and is our first pick as favorite!)

Colab promises more seasonal collaborations in the future, so be sure to keep an eye on their site for more original pieces to come!
Whether you’re staycationing this summer, or jetting of to some exotic locale, what better way to arrive at your favorite resort or beach house than toting some fabulous luggage?
Our absolute favorite set right now is the safari styled collection from Globetrotter, available through J.Crew.

Looking for something classic, but a bit more practical? The Black Label collection from Samsonite features a gorgeous herringbone set - our favorite piece it the duffel that zips all the way down the side.

Feeling impractical? Go white with selections from Valextra.

With any of these fabulous pieces, you really can’t go wrong, and you’re sure to make an entrance!
Call us crazy old ladies, but we’re willing to channel a little Mary Poppins in the name of fashion for these gorgeous tapestry bags from Gucci for the fall.

Maybe it’s because they don’t have logos written all over them, or because they perfectly capture that current bohemian/vintage feel we love. Either way, we’re adding this to our Lust List!
Philip Treacy is best known for his exuberant hats, worthy of British royalty and Kentucky Derby style…

So you can imagine what the master designer came up with when asked to create an environment for the The G Hotel in his hometown of Galway…
The incredibly glam Cocktail Bar:

The pop optic Pink Lounge:

A more soothing palette for the Grand Salon:

And the royal Blue Lounge:

Philip explains his glamorous vision behind this project, “…a good hat, no matter how much it costs, has the ability to make the wearer feel like a million dollars. Walking into the g has the same effect… for each of them, it is their moment on the red carpet.”
Of course, luxury also means giving your senses a break. When exhausted from that whirlwind of eye candy in the common spaces, you can go relax in guest rooms made to refresh.

So how does all this opulence fit into a town that looks like this?

The g’s website says of the town, “Steeped in history yet with a decidedly forward-thinking attitude, it has earned the reputation of being the unofficial arts capital of Ireland”. And the design that has come out of Treacy’s creativity is certainly a work of art indeed.
