Do you Etsy? If not, you’re missing out on some fully stocked vintage stores with goodies to fulfill your fall and winter wardrobe requirements. Allow us to demonstrate:
Lace should have been on your shopping list a while ago. While black is hot, we dig this maroon and cream jacket dress for its originality.
Sequins are everywhere right now. Lucky for you, many stores have a variety of pieces from the 80’s (the era of sequins). This dress is one of the more subtle pieces, and even has a great keyhole back.
If you’re gonna do real fur - go vintage. This coat is in amazing shape, and your animal loving friends won’t hate you as much for purchasing fox fur from the 70’s.
Nobody knows this better than any girl who’s gone out for the night in a new pair of heels. So, when we stumbled upon these ’shoes’ (via the coveted) by design student Gwendolyn Huskens from the Design Academy in Eindhoven, they certainly put a smile on our face…
Created from casts, bandages and wraps these stylish creations look good enough to wear even when we’re not in pain! We love a little ironic creativity. Well done Gwen!
What’s more inspiring than fashion on the runway? Fashion on the streets. Seems like knowing that someone else is pulling it off makes it far more approachable, wouldn’t you agree? So today we popped over to one of our favorite Street Style blogs, Un Fille Comme Moi and were blown away by two fabulous little ensembles.

From head (fur hat!) to toe (love the booties), this style is all her own. And she even snuck in a subtle plaid. Awesome.

This look is straight from the fall runways from shows like Burberry Prorsum and Proenza Schouler, but she’s given it her own unique twist. We’ve been dying to try pulling off the sequins during the day… now we know just how it should be done.
Normally when we hear ‘Victorian Modern’, we think Goth. We think dark colors and lots of lace. We think… hmmm… not so much our style. But then we found Eyola and we thought… wow.

Gorgeous detailing in the Victorian style, yes. But it’s modern, clean, and totally wearable.
Not to mention sassy! They describe themselves as “the combination of elegance, audacity and creativity,” which sounds just about right to us.
We’re loving almost every piece from these talented London designers. For more on their designs, check out their website and get ready to indulge.
Browsing through one of our favorite blogs, Catherine Ashley Talks Fashion, we stumbled on her collection of Galliano details from the Spring 2009 RTW show.

Halloween inspiration anyone? And, how genius is the makeup here? The shiny gold spots added to the nose and lips give them a true porcelain doll look.
Yes, it’s true. We’re already planning our holiday ensembles, which wouldn’t be complete without every woman’s must have - the LBD (little black dress).
An asymmetrical neckline always adds a bit of sass to a simple dress. (McQueen & La Petite S*****)
Looking to shine? Glam it up with a bit of sparkle from Antik Batik or D&G.
We’re especially loving retro stylings this year. Add a bit of ruffle, and it’s pretty irresistible. (Nathan Jenden & Burberry)
You really can’t get any more classic than an LDB from Oscar de la Renta, but D&G makes a great alternative as well.
All dresses available at Net A Porter.
We’ve been seeing black Kane Bag from Tracy Zych on the pages of almost every major fashion mag this month. So we wanna know…
Do you think it’s Haute? Or not? Would you rock this fringe look, or are you over it?
The stars were out last night for the Emmy’s, flaunting some stunning styles - many from the recent Spring RTW shows. Most kept their styles sophisticated and stunning, but two trends stuck out on the red carpet.

Bright colors - epecially in yellows and blues - were the choice of many attendees, and they certainly rocked them well. Mariska Hargitay, in Carolina Herrera, and Emilie de Ravin, in Matthew Williamson.

On the other end of the color spectrum, subdued neutrals with incredible details like both these dresses from Elie Saab worn by Evangeline Lily and Marcia Cross were another popular choice.
Our favorites?

A tough call to make, but we really loved Sandra Oh in this beautifully textured Oscar de la Renta with lace detail, as well as the glowing Olivia Wilde in Reem Acra.
Who were your favorites?
Leave it to Carolina Herrera to always come through with beautifully crafted details designed into her amazing gowns. When it came to this collection, the ruffles, embellishments and textures pulled the looks together and made them stand out, all at the same time…

Bright colors with ruffles and textures in black and white were a huge part of the collection.

Herrera paid special attention to the shoulders this season!

Things even got a little wild for the usually refined Herrera bright contrasts, and wild organza details. Want more? View the entire collection, details and all, right here.
Photos of this little beauty have been floating around the fashion world since last week… and we’re not talking about the gorgeous gal … we’re talking about the necklace that has everyone buzzing!

Created by talented jewelry artist Lizzie Fortunato, this crafty piece is eye catching and natural all at the same time, which is why we’re loving it too!

She has a whole series of them in her fall collection. So perfect that we can’t pick which one we love the best!
