If there is a home decor equivalent to the ‘hipster’ trend, it’s The Selby.
Real people…
Real homes…
Real cool…
Each home has a tour full of delicious details. If you haven’t already discovered this site, check it out now. There is tons of inspiration to be had, friends. TONS.
We first fell for Justin Giunta’s work last year when his combination of industrial commercial lighting with gorgeous vintage crystal and glass baubles gave him some real recognition in the art and interior world…

The contrast of materials created a seriously chic outcome, and it kicked off a career that has quickly made him sought after in another industry - fashion.
“In my work I am always drawing parallels between art history and modern design to explore themes of fine art and commercial design. The only difference between the two seems to be where you sell it.“

Justin’s jewelry line, Subversive Jewelry has brought him acclaim from many, and uses the same idea of mixing old and new to create glamorous, over-the-top pieces.

He jumped onto the scene this year with his fashion week debut in March, and hasn’t looked back since.
Between being tapped by Target last month to contribute to their successful designer series (in which he created the cuffs above), and consistently receiving more and more press time, Justin has officially been added to our list as one to watch.
