It seems like Missoni is everywhere these days. Fashion, tableware, bedding, and recently, making a showing during Milan Design Week as a part of Corian’s exhibit honoring the bright colors and vivid designs of Missoni with spaces like these:

Now we hear that the next plan on the horizon for the design powerhouse is a hotel.

Teaming up with The Rezidor Hotel Group, boutique spaces are planned in ten locations across the world in the next five years, with the first two opening in Kuwait and Edinburgh in 2009.

If the hotels are even as close to sucessful as the Missoni brand has been in every other endeavor, these spaces are sure to be just glamorous and fresh. Count us in.
